Meet our team:

Mircea has been working in sustainability since 2005. In 2006 he co-founded a sustainability focused NGO, where he still serves as a member of the Board. For more than 10 years he has been leading the sustainability agenda of the Retail division of IKEA in Romania. 

At IKEA, he was directly involved with various aspects of sustainability: from waste management to energy efficiency, from sustainable transport to biodiversity regeneration projects, from training, mentoring and coaching to Public Affairs and being a spokesperson, from Extended Producer Responsibility to ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) reporting, from emergency humanitarian support in COVID19 and Ukrainian crises to ongoing community support.

He started his coaching journey as internal coach at IKEA in 2018. Since then, he added to his toolkit the highly effective solution-focused coaching techniques from Erickson Coaching International.

Mircea translates sustainability concepts into everyday language, helping clients embed them at strategic level, creating effective actionplans. He uses a holistic and systemic approach, enhanced by his 18+ years work experience in IT.
